Property Tax Information


Tax bills are mailed out in mid-December. They can also be found on the Forest County website.

Mail your tax stub with the payment. To receive a receipt for payment, include a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

FEES: E-Check $1.95 and Credit/Debit cards 2.75% of transaction

Allow 3 business days for the payment to be deposited into the Town Bank Account. When the funds reach our account, the payment will be recorded in the tax system. The process takes a few days. Thank you for your patience.

Tax payments submitted after January 31 each year must be paid to the Forest County Treasurer.

U.S. POSTAL SERVICE NOTICE: details of this change are at Say goodbye to the same-day postmark. Mail sent Monday through Friday at a non-regional processing facility post office will not be postmarked until the next day. Mail sent on a Saturday will not be collected until Monday morning, and it won’t be scanned until Monday afternoon or evening, so the postmark will be two days after it was sent. If a piece is sent on a Saturday before a Monday holiday, it may not be collected, processed and postmarked until Tuesday — a gap of 3 days.
